I say: I have used this product 8 ways from Sunday and still don't care for it. The only time I liked it was when a stylist used a tiny drop on my hair to blow out and flat iron my hair.
Now, I understand my opinion is in the minority as many people love this overpriced serum. I don't. The scent is terribly strong and I'm not really sensitive to smells. It reminded me of Redken Smooth Down conditioner which almost had me gasping for fresh air. Too fragrant.
Next, this serum gave me no slip whatsoever. I've used Moroccan Oil Treatment for air drying, rollersetting, blowdrying, flat ironing, and bunning. All results were consistently...blah. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't justifying this price tag. I didn't like that I always had to follow up with additional product to supplement slip and I do not like piling product on top of product on my hair.
For the price, I simply cannot throw it away, but nor will I be repurchasing it. I've even tried Sally's One N' Only Argan Oil, which is the generic version of similar ingredients, and the results were the same. So I say, no thank you to Moroccan Oil Treatment.

Good Review! Thank you for sharing because I have been debating about purchasing this oil, not anymore.
Thanks for the review. As a recovering PJ, I saw the price tag of this product and said No, Thank You! I'll just take everyone else's word. I am curious as to why the results weren't recreated from your salon visit?
LaQT - This product was the only product that was used in my salon results. So this was not the sole product that gave me those results. I used a completely different product regimen. And I can't flat iron my hair like a stylist can, so there were many other factors.
Good review! I've been debating about whether to buy the Sally's version since I heard so many raves about it...meh, I'll pass for now.
I havent purchased this product because of the price tag. I did however find a trial size on Ebay that Im eyeing. I want to give it a try because as you mentioned some folks RAVE on and on about it. So IF I purchase Ill come back and let you know my thoughts :)
Thanks for sharing!
I have to say that I purchased this product maybe a month after this blog (I didn't see the blog however) and I agree and say that I am NOT impressed. My bottle is collecting dust. Thank goodness it was a small bottle & I paid $8 for it.
